Nicholas picked the pirate theme for his birthday party. Here are a few shots. I didn't take very many during the party since we were busy. I was inspired by one of Alicia's invites that she shared last year and rolled up the invites and put them in water bottles...like the message in a bottle idea. I also made clues for the kids that sent them all over the house looking for the treasure chest. Inside the treasure chest were mini treasure chests with toys and jewels for them to decorate their chests and things for them to dress up like pirates and then I took the kids' photos in front of the awesome banner I made and I will send the photos out as thank yous. I made the cake...sorta last minute and used crushed up vanilla wafers for the "sand" part. I found a cool blow-up pirate ship ring toss game for the kids at Party City.

This is beyond adorable. Everything looks so beautiful. I've been to a lot of themed parties, but I think this definitely wins the prize for most creative with decor! You're unbelievable. Thank you for sharing your precious life. <3
You are so creative Farrah!! I love it all! Ü
Wow! You did great! It looks like a lot of fun. My son's room is "pirate" themed. He's about to outgrow it now. Makes me sad!!
(BTW, my son is Nicholas too, although he is 13 now)
