ummm...my pinterest inspired shot of the week....fail...BUT...we all had a lot of fun trying!

Project 52 {week twenty six} -Happy 4th of July!

Well...one might think that we spent the entire day eating. That isn't too far off, but mostly, I didn't take many other photos, or they didn't turn out all that great. So...making the best of what I have...here's a day of fun food!

We made red, white, and blue pancakes for breakfast...the kiddos loved them...devoured them...and licked the plate clean



mmmmm....watermelon! Perhaps a bit sour, especially if you eat the rind! Silly Claire!



and even more mmmmm...who doesn't LOVE s'mores?




and...one lone half decent firework photo to prove that we did in fact do more than just eat. But...am I the only one who has noticed that sparklers have changed? The ones we have are like mini blow torches with green flames, as opposed to the gray sparkly sparklers. Ahhh...the good old days.
